As “pack animals”, regular, positive interaction with other dogs and humans is vital to the development of a healthy, happy dog. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6067676/

Our playgroups work to develop your dog’s well-being and confidence by reinforcing calm, appropriate play behaviors in a safe environment. To do this, we transport your dogs to one of our fenced-in facilities located at your local Veterans' post. At the field, they engage in a supervised off-leash play session. This running and playing can also help improve your dog’s routine, prevent destructive behavior at home, prepare your dog for away-from-home situations, and, of course, alleviate dog-owner guilt.

At your dog’s initial evaluative play session, our Playgroup Supervisor will observe play style, energy level, and personality to ensure he/she is placed in a group with the perfect pals.

If your dog already has friends in the community, please let us know so we can accommodate them playing together!

Our main objectives are to help your dog socialize, exercise and develop friends. Our added bonus is that your support benefits your local Veteran organization.
